We’re excited to be featuring new plan with me layouts from the planners on our Sweet team! This layout from Courtney Miles is no exception. Courtney paired the new Bouquet set with current stamps in the shop and we think the pairing made a beautiful and unique layout for her week in October. Let’s have a closer look!
About this layout, Courtney says:
I used the Cartoon Alpha stamp set (which is one of my FAVORITES!) to stamp out words of tasks I knew I would need to complete for the week – i.e. “work”, “bujo” and “tidy”. I stamped out the letters on Xpress It cardstock making sure to have each letter touch the one before it to make sure the words appeared to be one cohesive stamp – rather than just letters stamped out and put together.
After I stamped out the words for my upcoming tasks – I stamped out several florals from the Bouquet stamp set onto Xpress it cardstock as well, and added the adorable little boy from the Super Boy stamp set to represent time with my son over the weekend.
Courtney then colored all the images using Copic markers and decided to go with pastels to give it a more neutral feeling for the week. She cut out all the stamped images and arranged them in her planner. After placing the stamped out words to her planner in their designated spots, she added the florals around to even out the pages.
About the finishing touches, she says:
I added a Tombow adhesive tape runner across the back of all the cut out images and affixed them to the pages. Last but not least I added in any remaining details or tasks for the week – such as the Sweet Stamp Shop release on Wednesday!
Beautiful use of the Bouquet stamp set, Courtney! If you’d love to learn more about her and get more tips from her about mixing decorative and functional planning, check out her Insta.
