Memory Planning in the Happy Planner™️

Hey there, Sweet friends! Jung AhSang is back with another memory keeping layout and we’re sure you’re going to love this one. Her youngest daughter recently turned one and she wanted to document her 12 month milestone in a planner layout.

Jung-AhSang

Jung explains:

My daughter, Ruby, had a donut party, and some of Sweet Stamp Shop’s products are perfect for this planner spread!  I am using the Sweet Stamp Shop Baby Plans stamp set and my Happy Planner™️. First, I stamped out a bunch of images from the stamp set that I thought I might use, colored them using my Copic markers, and then fussy cut them.  (How perfect is that banner for Ruby’s name?!)

Here is Jung’s planner all decorated:

Jung continues:

I used photos from her invitation photo session, and I also included a copy of her invitation.  Once I laid out where I wanted to place everything, I decided to do some masked stamping on her party day, Saturday the 21st.  I took some post-it notes, and masked off the other areas of the planer using the lines of the planner as my guide, and leaving the spot I want to stamp open.  I used the party hat and a small star repeatedly in the space with pink ink.

The best part of masked stamping is pulling off the masking (post-it notes in this case)

Next up, Jung added the “months old” and “year old” stamps from the Baby Plans stamp set.  She also added some washi tape and used the number candles from the Celebrate set and donut washi from an older Sweet Stamp Shop set.

Jung then added the photos and also printed out the “Donut Worry,” which is actually meant to be an iPhone wall paper, and is a free download you can find on the Design + Happiness blog here.  She also glued the invite to a piece of pattern paper, and attached it to the planner page.

About the final touches, Jung says:

To finish off my planner, I added in the stamped images from the Baby Plans set, a few stickers from my stash, and did a little journaling about her milestones. I love the little label with a baby face on it.  It’s perfect to write in a birthday time or an appointment time.  I stamped the Happy birthday sentiment from the Happy Birthday stamp set above the invite.  I also stamped and colored the Unicorn Donut…perfect for her donut party!

Her final thoughts:

I hope you liked my planner spread!  I want to use the Baby Plans stamp set in a mini album.  I took monthly photos of my baby girl, and this stamp set would be great for a mini album of those photos! I hope I inspired you to get crafty!

We hope that Jung creates that mini album soon — we know you’d love to see it! If you’d love to follow her to see more memory keeping layouts or to see her adorable daughters, make sure you follow her on Instagram.
