Hello, Sweet friends! We’re so excited that Michelle Weissert is on the blog today with a layout perfect for ringing in the fall season. We’re going to jump right into what Michelle has to feature.
Fall is upon us! Like many people, it’s one of my favorite seasons because of the weather change and all of the fun activities that go along with it. Every year, I make a little “mental bucket list” of things I want to do and this year I thought it would be more fun to actually put one in my planner. I’m using some fun Halloween designs to decorate: Evil Background, Fall Into Christmas, Halloween Doodles, and Eye See You.
I started out by stamping multiple images and coloring them in. These are from the ‘Fall Into Christmas’ set. I don’t have the dies for this set, so I had to ‘fussy cut’ everything out. After filling out the activities on my paper strips, I added some washi and layered on my images.
Using her Tombow Mono Removable adhesive, Michelle adhered them into her planner. When she’s ready to stick them in for good, the adhesive rubs off and she can use the permanent adhesive.
Because I’m not actually sure when I’ll be doing the things on my list, I decided to make some “sticky notes” on the sidebar of the monthly view in my planner using strips of paper, stamps, and removable adhesive so I could add them in when the dates are more set and maybe add some photos as well.
Michelle loves adding quotes or sayings in her planner; she stamped the haunted castle from ‘Evil Background’ into a big empty space and used some ‘Lower Outline’ stickers for some extra emphasis.
I kiiiinda made a booboo when I wrote in my quote. I know there’s two p’s in ‘PumPkin’, but for whatever reason I wrote ‘pumkin’. Luckily, the cute pumpkin doodles from ‘Halloween Doodles’ came to the rescue! I stamped them onto a blank sticker sheet and covered it up! But guess what? I SMUDGED IT AGAIN WHEN I WROTE IT! But oh well! Sometimes you just gotta live with your mistakes! Ha!
That’s okay, Michelle! We totally understand and think you did a great job of spelling out pumpkin, again.
I added a couple birthdays I’ve got going on and stamped some little monsters throughout the month (of course). I like to keep my months pretty simple so I can still see the dates and very easily see what’s planned.
