Is it too early to start thinking about the holidays? Angeline doesn’t think so! She’s getting ahead by making some Christmas tags to have on hand when the busy season comes.
Hi, it’s Angeline here with some Sticky Sweet inspiration for Christmas! I decided it’s good to be ready for the holiday season and make some Christmas gift tags.
I LOVE the Fall Into Sticky Sweet because it has a mix of images which are perfect for different occasions. For this project, I am only choosing the Christmas images. I first colored the cute images in with my Copic markers. You can choose to just color it in one single shade, or even blend it in a few! Your choice because these stickers are AWESOME for coloring!
Then I added some glitter with the Wink of Stella Clear Glitter pen, because what’s Christmas without some sparkle? 🙂
I grabbed some 3×4 Christmas journal cards and added some washi tape for the border. Then it was time to have fun and get my Sticky Sweet on! 🙂 You may also use patterned papers for this or create your own.
Next I took the Fall into Christmas stamp set‘s sentiments to stamp the background of the card using a light colored ink. This set is just PERFECT to compliment your Sticky Sweet.
I also added the “HO HO HO” words in with a darker shade of ink using the Outline Lower Alpha stamp. You may choose to color in the letters or leave it as it is.
Finally, I punched a hole and tied a glittery ribbon to finish it up! 🙂 YAY!! All done!
So, here are my finished gift tags for Christmas.
Here are some close ups of the tags.
I also added some hand lettering to some of the tags.
