Sticky Sweet Superhero Cuffs – Samantha

We have a super tutorial from contributor Samantha Mann today! She is combining new Sticky Sweet and our stamps to make some SUPER sweet cuffs – perfect for every superhero in training.

Hello! Samantha here, and today I’m sharing a super fun project you can make with your kids (or for your own inner-superhero! Ha!)! So let’s get to it and make some superhero cuffs with the incredibly adorable Sticky Sweet stickers! 🙂

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

  • paper towel or toilet paper rolls
  • stickers
  • paint
  • paintbrush
  • scissors
  • stamp pad
  • stamps
  • acrylic block
  • and your imagination!

The first thing I did was paint the rolls with the paint and set them aside to dry.
While they are drying, it’s time to get into the zone and start coloring these ‘super’ images! 🙂

I used Distress Markers and did some light watercoloring, but you can use any medium you prefer (colored pencils, Copics, crayons, Sharpies…seriously! It’s not the medium, it’s the practice! So color with what you like, and keep at it!)!

Once my images were all colored, I used some scissors to cut a line down the center of the rolls. I also rounded the edges, but that’s not necessary!

Next, I stamped some phrases from the Super Boy stamp set onto the painted and cut roll! Now it’s time to use the stickers! (It’s the most exciting part! Ha!)

I just LOVE these stickers, and I think they came out SO cute on these superhero cuffs! I added a little washi along the edges, and my little Menn and their friends were ready to save the world!!

What’s you’re favorite way to use your Sticky Sweet Stickers? I want to hear!! Leave a comment below, or post in the Sweet Stamp Shop Fan Club group of Facebook! It’s a great place to share ideas, get inspired, and yeah, ok, enable each other! Ha!

Thanks for stopping by!
