Fun With Foil

Hello!
Samantha here, and today I’m here to share a trio of cards that I made!
They’re perfect for mass producing for the holidays because they’re super quick to make and they’re flat, so no extra postage!

Let’s check it out!
I used the beautiful Luke 2:14 stamp set! It’s perfect to create one layer cards, you could heat emboss or make a gorgeous shaker card! I chose to add some silver and gold foil!

I started by stamping the phrase multiple times onto some card stock. Then I brought the sheet to my local Staples and had them make three copies onto card stock and acetate sheets! The copies then have the stamped image in toner!

I cut the sheets into A2 size and then ran them through my laminator with some silver and gold foil! Instant pizzazz!!

I added some watercolor (using Distress Inks) onto some cardstock and then stitched on the foiled acetate! SO easy!
For the copies that are already on the card stock, I simply added some watercolor right on top of the foiling! The foil resists any color and it is just stunning!

So those are my cards! Guys, I’m serious when I say these cards took no time at all. Once you have the copies, it’s smooth sailing!

Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog!

Brilliant idea to stamp your images and then copy them in black!!! So going to do this with a variety of stamps.
