Sweet Tattoos

Well hello again!

It’s Samantha here on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog again! And today, I’m sharing how to make some pretty SWEET temporary tattoos!!

*Disclaimer – this project is SO easy, and SO addicting, and you may not ever stop making them!! Ha!*

Ok, so yes! I think we can all agree that the Sweet Stamp Shop has some of the most ADORABLE images out there! And I thought, why not make them into temporary tattoos?! And it really is SUPER easy!

First, stamp out the images you want to color. I stamped them on white cardstock, but you could stamp on watercolor paper and watercolor the images too!!

Next, color! I used copics!

I also let my 6 year old little Mann color in some images too! Can you guess who colored what?! Ha!

Then, all I did was scan the paper to my computer. This worked out so well, because not only do I get to make the temporary tattoos with these images, I also have colored images for future projects ready to go! Bonus!

Once the sheet is scanned, I printed it onto some Silhouette Temporary Tattoo paper (that, my friends, is where the magic happens!!).

Once it’s printed, you use the sticky sheet included in the tattoo paper kit and rub it on over the tattoo images! I used my bone folder and made sure to rub it really hard!

Then the tattoos are ready to cut and apply with a damp paper towel!
My boys LOVED them, and I can totally see doing these as custom birthday party favors or gifts!

Did you love this project? Honestly, I really thought these were going to be intimidating to make, but it was a BLAST and it was SO fun to involve my little Menn, too! (Even if he didn’t choose the tattoos he colored! Ha!)

You can literally use ANY of the adorable images available at the Sweet Stamp Shop, but the stamp sets I used are Countdown and This Means War.

Be sure to stick around for next weeks Sweet Stamp Shop May release!! The images are adorable and I can’t wait for everyone to see them!!

Thanks again for stopping by!
