Hi it’s Tyra and I’m here to share a fun little way I put myself to the test recently. I challenged myself to create a clean and simple tag in five minutes or less using one Sweet Stamp Shop set per Tag, and other supplies of my own choosing:
I decided to use Copics (am I crazy!) as my color medium of choice and have my box of embellishments ready if the card was looking a little plain. Let’s see the results:
Challenge #1: Holiday Town
Finish time and remarks: 4 minutes, 40 seconds. Whew! I made it! Super clean and simple, don’t you think? This tag would look great on a white or black and white striped gift wrap.
Finish time and remarks: 4 minutes, 32 seconds. Except for the smudge (I’ll use a dab of white paint to cover), I enjoyed creating this tag and I think it would work well as a tag on a gift for that someone special, wink!
Finish time and remarks: 4 minutes, 53 seconds. Yeah! I’m happy I was able to color in the house and the “Coffee” sentiment. I did make a make a smudge with the Copics, but I covered it up with a few enamel dots – ha! Who wouldn’t love this tag with a coffee gift card? I could use one of those right about now! Hence, the coffee sentiment is colored in fire like colors to demonstrate my love for this nectar of breakfast time!
Finish time and remarks: 4 minutes, 58 seconds. I like the idea behind the tag, however, if I were to create this card again, I would use a different red and green ink. You will notice a little smudge, but that’s nothing a little white paint can’t fix.
I think this fun challenge demonstrates that a little paper, color and Sweet Stamp Shop sets are all that’s needed to get started. Pulling together a finished tag can happen in two snaps! Thank you for indulging me for a moment and thanks so much for stopping by the blog! Tyra 🙂
