Creating Framed Art Using Journaling Cards

Hello friends! Veronica here to share a fun, and simple way to create framed art using journaling cards and stamps! Start out by finding an inspiring journaling card. I used cards from the Sweet Stamp Shop On Cherry StreetReflections” kit. This kit is chock full of inspiring phrases perfect for framing!

Here is my first framed art project:

I used the Reflections kit and Princess to complete this project. I picked up my frame in the dollar bin at Michael’s Craft store. You can’t beat $1 for a super cute frame! To cut the journaling card to fit your frame just turn your card upside down, and using a pencil, and soft touch, lightly trace the frame and cut it out. Then  tape it (They usually need a little help staying put.) using masking tape.

My second framed art project was created just with the journaling card from the “Reflections Kit” and no extra stamping.

I added a gold sequin bow, because well, everything is better with sequins, right? And I finished it off with a button.

I hope I have inspired you to create your own framed art to decorate your craft room or homes with, or to give as a gift to someone special. Thank you for stopping by the Sweet Stamp blog today and have a wonderful day!
