Hi friends! Jen Chapin here and today I am sharing a few fun things with you — a layout using the On Cherry Street Ahoy kit, as well as a sketch and a free .studio cut file that you can use with your Silhouette die cutting machine. I created this sketch with the journaling cards in mind – the 4×6 card in the middle with two 3×4 cards on either side.
And here is the layout I created based on the sketch. I used a pale blue patterned paper for the background, since this was a nautical page. I was able to pull in cards from the kit, as well as the stamp set and wood veneer that are included in the kit too!
The arrows are so cute. I have used every last one that came in my kit. They are super easy to add to a project with just a bit of liquid glue on the back. This ‘Got Sand?” card is the bonus card that is included in the kit as well!
Here is a better look at the cut file, which you can download for free HERE. I cut it with white cardstock and adhered to a patterned paper banner which I then stitched through. I love the texture that machine stitching adds to my projects.
I also added a cute anchor tag from my stash, as well as a few acetate embellishments and paperclip. As you can see here, I stamped directly on my photo with the stamp set. I love doing that, especially for pocket pages too!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! If you use either the sketch or cut file, I would love to see your project! Link me up in the comments and I will be sure to stop by.
Have a great day!
