Seaside Inspiration With Sweet Stamp Shop

Veronica Zalis - OCS - Ahoy-Cardrs

Hello friends! Veronica here today with my very first post on the Sweet Stamp Shop Blog and I am so excited to be here! The August stamp release, and the On Cherry Street – Ahoy kit both feature a fun and VERY trendy Nautical theme. Today I am going to share a project and a handful of pictures over-flowing with Nautical inspiration!

I think this may be my next Pinterest project, so peaceful and serene.

Such a beautiful sentiment, and instead of the sparkles I would add sand. Love this so much.

Anchor Pillow

I love this quote, it would be great for a bridal shower theme!

Seashells, and starfish, what’s not to love?

Are you ready to create a nautical inspired card yet? Well, let me show you what I came up with!

Veronica Zalis - OCS - Ahoy-Card

To create my card I used a journaling card from the On Cherry Street – Ahoy kit.

And I used the August Release stamp set “Ahoy“. I created the blue ombre background using a wave border die, and three complimentary shades of card stock.

Now,  I have one more bit of Nautical inspiration for you before I sign off, the view from my hotel, yep, I am writing this ON the beach in St Augustine Florida!

Vilano Beach

There are good ships and wood ships, and ships that sail the seas.  But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.
