Hi, Evelin here. I love stamps… and I love clear stamps a lot more than I love wood mount ones simply because I can see where I am stamping with clear stamps. With wood mount stamps, it can get a little tricky to get the placement where I want it to be especially if I want to layer some of the images, as I have done with this card that I am sharing below 🙂
I wanted to create wave patterns and overlapping some of them so clear stamps allows for me to see clearly where I want to place my ‘waves’. For this card, I wanted to spell out my own stamped the sentiment as well and the alpha tab set is awesome for this! I super heart this set! It’s my new obsession.. haha.
This is the set I used. Isn’t it awesome? I know it is not a new set, however, it is a goldie for sure! 🙂 And you can see the ‘mess’ I have in the far right of this picture. I love to stamp, watercolor and cut out all my images before I start creating and this time, it’s no different.
And there is a little something that I feel makes a handmade card so much more crisp and that is scoring. Scoring the card makes the fold so much crispier and neater. If you haven’t been scoring your cards, try it. You’ll love the effect.
I am using a Martha Stewart mini scoring board for scoring the cards.
And these are the stamp sets I used :
These are awesome stamp sets and have you got this months’ new release yet? They are superb, right? I love them ALL! Remember to follow us on Instagram and while you’re at it, like our Facebook page too.
Till next time!
