A Sweet Treat | Goodbye from Suzanne

Hi, SWEET friends! Suzanne here with my last post for my term here at Sweet Stamp Shop. I’ve had so much fun and learned a lot over the last three months, and boy, did the time fly by!

I hope you’ve enjoyed and have been inspired by my techniques for doing more with your Sweet stamps, like making your own designer paper, mixing, matching and masking with your stamps, and tips on making layered (and mailable) cards, and storing your stamps!

Since Mrs. Sweet is celebrating her birthday this week, I thought I’d make some cupcake toppers for my final Design Team post! I used the “Elephant Hearts“, “Monkey Business“, “Dragon“, “Juggling Act” “Koala” and “Balloons” sets!

I’ve been saving the white cardboard backing from several of my 6×6 paper pads and stamped the images on the cardboard. After coloring each image, I die-cut the circles and adhered them to some scalloped circles that I die-cut from card stock.

We have a bunch of bamboo skewers at home, so I used washi tape to attach one to the back of each topper. You can also use paper drinking straws, or the white lollipop sticks used to make cake pops if you can’t find bamboo skewers.

Here’s my finished project, topping off some homemade cupcakes!

Before I sign off, I’d like to thank Nicole, Chrissie, my fellow Design Team members and of course, YOU, Sweet friends, for making my time with Sweet Stamp Shop so amazing! Instead of a goodbye, how about a “see you later”? I’d love for you to visit me at my blog!

Make sure you keep up with all things SWEET through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram!

Here are the stamp sets that I used in today’s post: “Elephant Hearts“, “Monkey Business“, “Dragon“, “Juggling Act“, “Koala” and “Balloons“.
