Wrap it up! Creating sweet gift-wrappings

Hi there and happy sunday!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend with lots of time for all the things you love? I love my weekends – snuggling cats ( I have three) and crafting. 🙂

Today I’d like to share some possibilities to use Sweet Stamps for unique and fun gift wrappings. I have to admit – I don’t often create my own wrappings… but I definitely should – it’s so much fun! I had a BLAST  creating these.

So, let’s see what we have:

First of all I made a pillow box. i just love those boxes for tiny presents. And pillow boxes are easy to do – even if you don’t have a plotter of a die for this. Just use google to find free templates, it’s no problem to do this by hand. (Tip: Use a craft knife to add stitched lines to the areas that will be folded – scoring round shapes can be difficult). For my little boy I used some patterned paper and Too Hip.

Next up is a little canvas-bag. (This one is really tiny – I thought about giving away dice to a friend). I just stamped images from  Too Hip and Hedgehog Kiss in black onto that bag. (Tip: Put some paper into the bag before stamping. this way it’s a little more sturdy and the ink can’t bleed through)

The last idea was a vellum-bag. Paper-bag are hot right now . and I love translucent baggies. So I cut this out with my silhouette and stamped the moustache from Too Hip again. I added speech bubbles with a sentiment from Foxy and made the little Stinky Skunk peek around the corner. He got a moustache also 🙂 Then is stamped him onto a tag, colored it, added the Happy Birthday sentiment and wrapped it around that bag with some bakers twine.

These gift wrapping are cute but still male enough to be given to a man – don’t you think? All the moustaches and black-grey designs should be perfect for a man. And they make such a beautiful set:

Do you ever pimp your gifts using stamps? I’d be so happy so see your creations, so leave a comment and I will get around to you to be inspired by your ideas!

Did you like us on Facebook already? There might be some events you don’t want to miss 😉

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving some love – I truly appreciate it!
