it’s Christine from Germany, and this is my very first post as a design team member in this awesome and sweet place – how exciting is that?!? Yep, I’m kind of nervous to be here.
Well, here’s a bit about me:
I’m a 31 yr. old city-girl, living with my hero Michael and three cats. I love music, I love dancing, I love clever lyrics and texts. I love to make people smile and confuse them until they smile. I love sun, summer and the sea. (I feel at home when I’m at the seaside – I never found out why). I work in a youth centre with a focus on creativity – like theatre, photopraphy, music, arts, sewing,.. Inspiring (young) people to try something new makes my day brighter. So it’s all a bit busy and crazy, but that’s just me 🙂
Maybe some of you know me already – and know I love to make videos on crafty projects. Although it really challenged me in the beginning (because my English is far away from perfect) I really encourage you to try it out. It’s so much fun and explaining things makes you think twice about every step you do. And you figure out WHY you do things like you do them. Why do you pick that embellishment? Why are you using this technique? I totally started with my intuition and now I look for things that make sense on my projects. teaching is the best way to learn things yourself 🙂
Maybe some of you already have their own youtube channel – please leave a link to your channel in the comments so we can hop over and leave you some love 🙂
For today I made a video on a shaker card. When I saw the cute little washing machine from “Press it, washi it” I knew it had to be a shaker full of hearts. (Hearts seem to make sense on many projects, hehe).
If you want to see how it was created and get some tips check out the video:
I hope this inspired you to get out your sweet stamps and create.
Well, the new release is coming VERY soon and I know you’ll love it as much as I do. So make sure to like us on facebook (and click the “get notifications” button!) so you don’t miss all the hot news (any maybe some discount codes?! 😉 )
Thanks so much for joining me for this first sweet post! I am happy to be part of this team!
