Hello! Anna is here today with you and I’m a little nervous because this is my first post for the Sweet Stamp Shop as a new designer! The other day I first tried to make a new design for CAS-cards, for which the first time I used the watercolor in the past few years. So much the first times! It’s always a little exciting, and when affected by this issue, probably almost all of you will remember… right! Your first kiss! And I am very pleased to introduce to you today this sweet romantic card.
Hedgehogs can move from the edges to the center of card and kiss each other.
I want to share with you a little tutorial, how you can make such a funny card! To start with, choose a stamp set and prepare the figures. I chose a set of Hedgehog Kiss, then stamped, cut and painted the two hedgehogs. From the same set, I cut a bow for girls and a hat for the boy. On the hat, I added light reflection with white gel pen. And then I reddened cheeks for both hedgehogs… this is such an exciting time for them! I then tamped and cut the speech bubble and stamped a sentiment on it.
Next, I prepared the base of card. I chose a bright sheet with apples and a little softened it with white mist and added a few splashes of crimson. In a pleasing place, I carved out a long wide slot.
Next, I prepared four circles of each of two sizes (smaller circles in diameter must be smaller than the slot on the basis of cards). To cut the circles I used the appropriate dies, but you can use any of the tool you have on hand.
First, on the back side of hedgehogs, I glued one large circle, then two small, then put hedgehogs in place and on the reverse side anchoring the second large circle. Thus, they do not fall and freely move!
Now just put your construction on its place using foam tape and add a sentiment. And the card is ready, enjoy!
