Hi, it’s Evelin here today and I would like to share this card I made with you. The best thing about stamps from Sweet Stamp Shop is how easy they coordinate with each other. It’s so easy to mix and match them to create totally fun cards.
So, when I was ‘tasked’ by Nicole to illustrate a circus themed set, the first thought that came to my mind is to make them so that they can all ‘work’ together easily.
I made a non-standard sized card to accommodate all the little animals I was going to place on the card. I thought it would be fun to put them balancing on top of each other and top it with a juggling bear 🙂
I used all 3 sets that I illustrated for Sweet Stamp Shop : Juggling Bear, Elephant Hearts and Monkey Business. I also used the sentiment from June’s second release, Condolences. This set is not only perfect to be used for solemn occasions but it is also versatile enough to be used for happy occasions, depending on how and what images we pair them with.
As you can see, I watercolored these images too. I shared about watercoloring my stamped images in my previous post. It is a fun way to color images besides using colored pencils or distress inks.
You can’t really see it but I used Wink of Stella glitter pen on the juggling balls. It really adds more fun to the card. And I did add glossy accent to the balls after the pictures were taken just because I felt I wanted more dimension on them.
These are the stamp sets that I used for this card. You can find them all in the Sweet Shop.
Till next time, Evelin
