Happy Friday, sweet peeps!! Nicole Picadura here, back with another fun colorful tutorial to share! We are going back to the basics with today’s card. Did you noticed that the balloons on the card has different colors on them? Want to know how to create them? Let’s get right to it!
I used the Balloons Stamp Set for the project and focused mainly on using the solid images. Solid images are BEST for these techniques. If you ever tried Two-Tone stamping or Rock & Roll stamping techniques, you can easily create these balloons. If you are new to the techniques, no worries! Check out the video tutorial below to see how you can do these fast and easy! It is actually quite fun.
With an image of your choice, ink it up with the lighter shade ink pad first and take it right to the darker shade ink pad and rock & roll the stamp image. This way you can the darker shade on parts of your image. Getting 2 colors in 1 stamping! Doesn’t get much more fun that this, in my opinion. Play and experiment with yours to see how you can create different color effect.
Another reason I love this Balloons Stamp Set is those tiny confetti images. I went a bit crazy and added lots of them around the balloons – but you can create background or accents for your card. Super versatile!
Want to know how those strings were stamped to go behind those circle balloons? Make sure to watch the video 😉
The photo doesn’t do the justice, but I added a soft shimmer on each balloon using the Wink of Stella Glitter Pen. It just adds a nice interest to the card.
I also used Happy Birthday Stamp Set for the sentiment. This stamp set is packed with different fonts and styles so you can create verity of birthday cards over and over! More bang for your buck!
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope you enjoyed the tutorial. For more daily inspirations, please check out our Facebook Page or Instagram! They are updated every day. I will be back with another one in 2 weeks!
