pinterest inspired by layers and stitching

Hello and happy Wednesday sweet friends!

It’s Samantha here and I have a doozy of an inspiration source to share with you! it’s INCREDIBLE!

Sometimes, when I’ve lost my creative spark, I feel like I’m the only one who loses it! Have you guys ever lost your creative mojo? Well, I have! And during those times, I browse blogs, galleries, and most of all Pinterest!

Today, the card I found to inspire me, literally pulled me out of my crafty slump! And I found it right there on Sweet Stamp Shop’s own Pinterest page! Here it is, by the one and only Jocelyn Olson!

See what I’m talking about? AMAZING, right? I love the colors, the stitching, and all of the layers, not to mention splatters happening! I just think it’s a stellar card! LOVE!!

So yes, I was more than a little inspired by that beauty! I made two cards!

My first card uses the uber adorable, Yummy Love stamp set and the super amazing (and still totally trendy!)  Alpha Tabs stamp set!

You can’t go wrong with that stamp set combo, I’m convinced!

I die cut out my banners, stitched the doily, sentiment and strips of paper on, and it was done baby! i LOVE adding a mess of thread behind elements on cards when there is stitching! LOVE it!

I just think it would be a super perfect baby card, or even an anniversary card!

I was still super inspired by Jocelyn’s card, that I made another one! Here’s a sneak peak of it! (you can see the whole thing on my blog here)

I used Alpha Tabs again, and also the really fun Foxy stamp set!

So that’s it for me! Go check out the plethera of inspiration on the Sweet Stamp Shop’s Pinterest page, and if you see something truly amazing, let me know in the comments and I’ll use it as inspiration in my next post!

Have a super Sweet day!
