One Card, Many Techniques

Hi This is Tyra and I’m here to have a little fun with my last CAS Plus post for the Sweet Stamp Shop! First I want to say it was a pleasure to work with Nicole and the wonderful Design Team for the last two terms.  This was my first design team assignment and one I will always remember.  Sweet Stamp Shops stamps are modern, elegant and absolutely on trend.  Although this is the last time I will post, you will likely find me visiting the Facebook, Pinterest and Flickr communities to share a few fun creations made using these lovely stamps.  I hope to see you there too!

So, after reviewing most of my post in this series, I shared how to incorporate tags, washi tape, color and texture.  I also want to add a little sparkle.  However, the challenge is this: Can I use ALL of these techniques and keep this card CAS? Let’s find out, shall we?

I’m using Sparkle and Shine as my theme for today’s card.

Here is the card I created using multiple techniques. Did I keep it CAS?

CAS plus multiple techniques

I layered a vellum tag over a heart journaling card. I added sequined banners and a smaller embossed (texture) banner.  I threw in some more sparkle (can that count as glitter?).  A thin sliver of washi tape helped to secure everything in place.  The sweet sentiment from the Sparkle and Shine is perfect for this card.  I’m not sure if I kept the card CAS, but it was a lot of fun trying!

Thank you so much so visiting the blog. Take care and HUGS! Tyra 🙂
