Happy Thursday sweet friends!
It’s Emily here today with another one of my bright, fun, mini albums to share!
I’ve been so inspired by all of the neon colors and prints sweeping the industry lately. It kind of takes me back to my childhood in the 80’s.
I was in the store one day and I spotted these awesome neon acrylic paints. I HAD to have them! I knew that I would end up using them somewhere. Plus, they go hand in hand with my new neon inks that I just bought!
I ended up painting some empty toilet paper rolls with the neon green paint. The paint was really sheer at first, so I had to give it a few coats. You can’t really tell from the photos, but the base of the album is actually neon green.
I think it’s amazing to transform something as simple as an empty toilet paper roll into a beautiful mini album. Most people wouldn’t even know that it was made from toilet paper rolls! I always add little pull out tags to my albums, another great thing about using tp rolls, you have the perfect spot to add the pull out tags!
Of coarse, I used one of my favorite new stamp sets… Geek Chic! When I decided to go with the neon theme, I KNEW I wanted to use the cute little girl wormie and color her neon green.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I was able to inspire you with my very bright creation!
